There’s Nothing There! Glance Over Your Shoulder
In drivers training I was taught you have to use the rear view and the side view mirrors as you maneuver from one lane to another. The instructor let us know that in order for us to be able to know what is behind us we had to use the rear view mirror. We were also instructed that we had to use the side view mirrors to know what was coming up alongside us. Even though we had these two apparatus to help guide us along, there is an area when you can’t see the other car. The only way you will know that a car is there, you have to glance over your shoulder to make sure there was not another vehicle there. This is the blind spot. read more . . .
