Your Third Christmas Gift| Showers’ Blessing Inspires

The “True Love” mentioned in the song doesn’t refer to an earthly suitor, but it refers to God Himself. The “me” who receives the presents refers to every baptized person. The three french hens symbolizes the three Theological Virtues: 1) Faith, 2) Hope, and 3) Love. But now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; and the greatest of these is love. 1 Cor 13:13 (ASV)

I do hope that you enjoy this gift of love on the third day of Christmas. It is my desire that these words of encouragement will propel you further down your path of success.

Faith, Hope & Love

Faith enables you to believe in the exceeding-ness of who God is and in the veracity of His Word. When you can believe, then you will be able to achieve everything God envisioned for you. Faith makes you pleasing in the sight of God. Faith enables you to know that you can have whatever you say. Without faith, you cannot please God. Faith is rooted in love. Perfect love always casts out fear. Casting out fear, no longer stops you from achieving and experiencing all God envisioned. Build your faith and you will always experience the hope of God’s glory.

Your hope is what builds up your faith. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for and evidence of things not seen. Have you ever thought about what is the substance of hope?

The substance of hope is your trials and tribulations that gives you patience, patience builds your character in making you strong and strengthening your faith to endure life’s hardships. With every experience it increases your ability to keep hoping in the promises of God. You become persuaded that this hope, which may appear to be rooted in adversity, is building your character. It prepares you to be more than a conqueror because of God’s love. It will never make you ashamed because of the love God pours inside of you through His Holy Spirit every day.

Every day God infuses you with His love. Really it is His love, inherent in His Holy Spirit, which propels you to succeed. Love is the strongest force that exists because God is love. Every assignment is rooted in God’s love—especially the greatest two commandments to love God with all your heart, mind, and soul and to love your neighbor as you love yourself. When you love God, it enables you to embrace the assignment with passion and overcome the limitations of this world that tries to prevent you from succeeding. This same love spills over into the passion that drives you to serve with a spirit of excellence, compassion, and love. Whatever you need to succeed, God has already lovingly poured it inside of you and equipped you for humongous success.

I do hope that you enjoy this gift of love on the third day of Christmas. It is my desire that these words of encouragement will propel you further down your path of success.
