Your Sixth Day of Chirstmas Gift| Showers’ Blessing Inspires

The “True Love” mentioned in the song doesn’t refer to an earthly suitor, but it refers to God Himself. The “me” who receives the presents refers to every believer. The six geese-a-laying represent the six days of creation that confesses God as Creator and Sustainer of the world (Genesis 1). In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. Gen 1:1-3 (KJV)

I do hope that you enjoy this gift of love on the sixth day of Christmas. It is my desire that these words of encouragement will propel you further down your path of success.

Creative Power of Words

You create your world. Not just for today but for tomorrow as well. If we take our lessons from the Master Creator, Almighty God, we will never go wrong.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. How did this creation take place, through words. God spoke it and it came into existence. There is power in the creative forcefulness of our words. There is life and death in the power of the tongue.

The great civil rights leader Martin Luther King said, “My personal trials have taught me the value of unmerited suffering. As my sufferings mounted I soon realized that there were two ways that I could respond to my situation: either to react with bitterness or seek to transform the suffering into a creative force.”

Positive creativity transforms worlds and lives. Positive creativity is not afraid to look at life as it is, envision how it can be and set out to create a new world.

Each of us has a responsibility that when we take our final breath to have made a positive contribution to making this world a better place. That can only come when we tap into the creative energy of our Creator, the Almighty God, in accomplishing the task He has set before us regardless of how impossible it may appear.

God has placed skills and talents in each of us. It is up to us to take those skills and talents and use them for the betterment of our families, churches, schools, communities, societies and ourselves.

No one can destroy you, but you. No one can create you, but you. God took his words and put them in your mouth and gave us the power to speak into existence those things that be not as though they are. In essence, He provided us the ability to speak so the invisible can become visible.

Follow the exemplary example of your heavenly Father and say, “I’ll create me a world.” God empowered you to create a better world when He blessed you with the creative gift of words.

  1. Listen to the words you speak. If you speak more negative words than positive words, make a conscious decision to transform your speaking habits. Become conscious of only speaking words of life and not words of death.
  2. Complement your positive aspirations with the life-transforming power of God’s Word. As you speak each affirmation you double its creative power by coupling it with God’s Word.
  3. Create an environment to speak only creative words by putting positive affirmations throughout your house. Don’t just walk by them, but speak them until they become a part of your very existence.
  4. Include positive aspirations in your cell phone to keep you motivated throughout the day. Remember to complement them with a scripture. Throughout the day meditate on them and watch how prosperous your life becomes.
  5. Be careful of every idle word you speak. Refrain from saying things like, “I’m so stupid. I can’t learn that. You make me sick.” It may seem as though you are just merely saying words, but words have power. Transform your thoughts. You transform your heart. You transform your words. Out of the heart the mouth speaks.
  6. Always remember that life and death are in the power of the tongue. Allow your words to be a life-generating force that creates a world you never thought imaginable and for others as well.

This is your 6th gift of the 12 days of Christmas.

Enjoy Your Gift!

Your Fifth Day of Chirstmas Gift| Showers’ Blessing Inspires

The “True Love” mentioned in the song doesn’t refer to an earthly suitor, but it refers to God Himself. The “me” who receives the presents refers to every believer. The first Five Books of the Old Testament, known as the Torah or the Pentateuch: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy, which gives the history of humanity’s sinful failure and God’s response of grace in the creation of a people to be a light to the world. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matt 5:14-16 (KJV)

I do hope that you enjoy this gift of love on the fifth day of Christmas. It is my desire that these words of encouragement will propel you further down your path of success.

Made by God

We are the love-lights that have been sent into the world to brightly illuminate in the marketplace every single day. Most notably, we are being sent into our respective workplaces to be those shining lights drawing people to God. A light gives off warmth. It is not dull, but brings illumination of the liberating power of God’s Word.

As those love-lights every dark place we enter into the atmosphere is transformed. It is not about being a Bible-thumping zealot, but it is to exhibit compassionate love to all that comes into our sphere of influence. In the 21st century, we have to be even more vigilant in spreading love and good cheer in our respective workplaces. People need the Word and they want it, even though sometimes they act as though they don’t.

Those five golden rings of the Pentatuch begins with Genesis where God creating man in His image and breathed the breath of life in him. God went even further to instruct humankind to subdue, replenish, increase and take dominion of the earth. Even though man faltered in the process, God had already created a plan to reconnect man back to Him.

In these five books, God outlines in meticulous details every blessing for us to increase in wisdom, understanding, counsel, might and knowledge as we give reverence to Him and lead by the Holy Spirit. There is nothing that God would not do for us and would not give us. He has placed so much greatness inside of each of us to become everything He envisioned so we could experience what God saw—spiritual, abundance, wholeness and wealth.

Every day God expects us to tap into the well-spring of skills and talents that He has placed inside of each us. Moving forward on the path to success these are five golden nuggets I’d like to share with you:

  1. Obey God’s commandments. When you obey God’s commandments there are always corresponding blessings chocked-full of opportunities that manifests in your life.
  2. Believe in the veracity of God’s Word and use it every day to transform your mindset to overcome a life of limitation and embrace an abundant life of prosperity.
  3. Establish a life of prayer and fasting. There is no other way to become more in tuned to what God has for your life. These two disciplines, when coupled together, enable you to overcome negative strongholds and habits that have prevented you from experiencing success.
  4. Don’t just be a hearer of God’s Word, but be a doer as well. Your success is sealed when you augment God’s Word with your corresponding actions. You have to do more than just repeat it, but you have to live it out every day.
  5. Without faith you cannot please God. You should be increasing in faith every day. The only way you can do that is through studying his Word, praying and fasting as part of your daily and weekly regimen.

This is your 4th gift of the 12 days of Christmas.

The “True Love” mentioned in the song doesn’t refer to an earthly suitor, but to God Himself. The “me” who receives the presents refers to every believer—that includes you. The four calling birds represents the Four Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, which proclaim the Good News of God’s reconciliation of the world to Himself in Jesus Christ. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 2 Cor 5:18-19 (KJV)

The priceless gift of God’s love when He gave His Son so we could experience life to its fullest and have eternal life is priceless—it is unquantifiable. I believe with all my heart that God wants us to use every talent and gift He placed in each of us to make this world a better place. Jesus stated that He came that we would have life and have it more abundantly. I do believe with all my heart we must tap into the well-spring of talents and gifts that God has given us to succeed.

The four gospels echo of the unending love God bestows on us every single day. It began with His Son’s birth and culminates in His resurrection. It cries of His faith in His Son and His faith in our believing in the liberating possibilities His Son has given from the manger to the cross.

The three french hens symbolizes the three Theological Virtues: 1) Faith, 2) Hope, and 3) Love. But now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; and the greatest of these is love. 1 Cor 13:13 (ASV)

Faith, Hope & Love

Faith enables you to believe in the exceedingness of who God is and in the veracity of His Word. When you can believe, then you will be able to achieve everything God envisioned for you. Faith makes you pleasing in the sight of God. Faith enables you to know that you can have whatever you say. Without faith, you can’t possibly please God. Faith is rooted in love. Perfect love always cast out fear. When fear is cast out, there is nothing to stop you from achieving and experiencing all God envisioned. Build your faith and you will always experience the hope of God’s glory.

Your hope is what builds up your faith. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for and the substance of hope is your trials and tribulations that gives you patience, patience builds your character in making you strong and strengthening your faith to endure life’s hardships. With every experience it increases your ability to keep hoping in the promises of God. You become persuaded that this hope, that may appear to be rooted in adversity, is actually building your character and prepares you to be more than a conqueror because of God’s love. It will never make you ashamed because of the love God pours inside of you through His Holy Spirit each and every day.

Every day God infuses you with His love. Really it is His love, inherent in His Holy Spirit, that propels you to succeed. Love is the strongest force that exists because God is love. Every assignment you are given is rooted in God’s love—especially the greatest two commandments to love God with all your heart, mind and soul and to love your neighbor as you love yourself. When you love God you’re able to embrace the assignment with passion and overcome the limitations of this world that tries to prevent you from succeeding. This same love spills over into the passion that drives you to serve those that you are assigned to with a spirit of excellence, compassion and love. Whatever you need to succeed, God has already lovingly poured it inside of you and equipped you for humongous success.

This is day 3 of the 12 Days of Christmas. My gift of encouragement to you. Enjoy the gift.

Please note we had some technical difficulty in getting this gift to you on Day 3. We wanted you to receive the gift.

Your Second Day of Chirstmas Gift| Showers’ Blessing Inspires

The “True Love” mentioned in the song doesn’t refer to an earthly suitor, but it refers to God Himself. The “me” who receives the presents refers to every baptized person. The two turtle doves represent the Old and New Testaments, which together bear witness to God’s self-revelation in history and the creation of a people to tell the Story of God to the world. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments. Psalms 119:105-106 (KJV)

Your First Day of Chirstmas Gift| Showers’ Blessing Inspires

The “True Love” mentioned in the song doesn’t refer to an earthly suitor, but it refers to God Himself. The “me” who receives the presents refers to every baptized person. The partridge in a pear tree is Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, whose birthday we celebrate on December 25, the first day of Christmas. In the song, Christ is symbolically presented as a mother partridge that feigns injury to decoy predators from her helpless nestlings, recalling the expression of Christ’s sadness over the fate of Jerusalem: “Jerusalem! Jerusalem! How often would I have sheltered you under my wings, as a hen does her chicks, but you would not have it so . . . .” (Luke 13:34)

I Am that I Am

My mother gave me a priceless gift to love God and to love others. Her instructions were simplistic, yet expansive, “Love one another.” I believe everything hinges on that humongous powerful four letter word that can transform the most stubborn of wills—L-O-V-E.

God wants us to understand the magnitude of the role he plays within each of us, but he also wants us to understand the magnitude of the role we play in each other’s lives. Living out the greatest two commandments to love God with all our mind, body and soul and to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. I believe these two commandments, when kept at the forefront of our lives, keeps us grounded to serve and love one another.

Many times we want to feel that we are in this alone. When we isolate ourselves we become more consumed with what others can do for us and lose sight of what we can do for others. Self-serving attitudes and actions only lead to destructiveness and limitation. I AM—God within us—connects us and unifies us. God is love. We are united in His love. Together we exemplify unity in all of its nuances to achieve much more than we could ever achieve alone. Our actions and behaviors have a direct consequence on each other because when one is affected everyone is affected.

When we allow the I AM power dwelling in each of us to be our guiding force, the veil that prevents us from understanding our purpose is lifted. Allowing God, I Am That I Am, to guide and lead us to our expected purpose, we come up against mental strongholds that try to prevent us from experiencing all God has for our lives, which is directly connected to all God has for others’ lives.

Each of us may not want to fulfill our responsibility for the welfare and well-being of others, but we have no choice. It is rooted in the two greatest commandments. We are responsible for banning together and making things happen. God provides the purpose, but He also provides us the wisdom to know collectively we can do much more.

Working together we experience progress. We must respect the enterprising spirit inherent in each of us. If we don’t respect each other and support our respective dreams and aspirations, we will never excel to the heights God envisioned.

The Spirit of I Am answers the questions looming in our lives. His purpose is for us to be prosperous. His purpose is for us to be protected and safe. His purpose is for us to have the desires of our hearts. His purpose is for us to have power and a sound mind, not to be controlled by the limitations of this world, but to be controlled and guided by divine peace, joy, love and the Spirit of I AM. At the core of His Spirit is love. Such a small word with illimitable power.

Merry Christmas! | Showers’ Blessing Inspires

Greetings,

I love Christmas! I have more decorations than I almost have a place to put them. Needless to say, over the years it has come to mean more than decorations. It is time to celebrate with family and friends and pour out love to everyone. When I think about Christmas’ gone by, I can’t help but reminisce about how much fun my family enjoyed. We’d kick it off on Christmas Eve and celebrate every day until New Year’s Day.

The celebration included singing the Twelve Days of Christmas. Every one of us anticipated singing it since my sister Portia introduced it to us many years ago. In essence, each person is given a card with four of the gifts from the song on it. They are random. That is what makes it so much fun.

As you proceed through the sung, each person stands up and sings the portion of the song that is listed on their card. We are jumping up and down, singing, laughing and just having a great time.

One year, I wanted to know more about the Twelve Days of Christmas and exactly what were we singing. To my amazement, it was more than a nonsensical song, but actually was a way for Catholics in England to practice their faith during a period when they were prohibited from doing so in public and in private. They were able to teach their children about Christmas and Christ using the symbols of each day. I was interestingly intrigued that the 12 days did not proceed Christmas, but actually started on Christmas evening and ended the evening of January 6. Over the years, the 12 days have to come to represent more than just a nonsensical song to me.

Oftentimes as we look at the ending of one year and another year beginning, we are always in a place of expectation. As I look to celebrate Christmas this year, the 12 days of Christmas’ significance means giving gifts that propel others to fulfill their dreams and live out their purpose.

For 12 days, beginning on Christmas evening and culminating on January 6, expect a gift of encouragement. It is my way of saying thank you for your support for The Showers Group Ministries, The ME Place, Oh Break Out Empowerment & Leadership Experience, Showers’ Blessing Inspires, 11:59 A Mintue ’til Midnight Marketplace Prayer Bootcamp and Wisdom Wealth & Riches with Jacqui BlogTalkRadio Show. It is my prayer and hope these gifts of inspiration will continue to propel you in 2016 to become all God envisioned so you can experience what God SAWW, Spiritual Abundance Wholeness and Wealth.

Enjoy Your Christmas!
