Your Third Day of Chirstmas Gift| Showers’ Blessing Inspires

The “True Love” mentioned in the song doesn’t refer to an earthly suitor, but it refers to God Himself. The “me” who receives the presents refers to every baptized person. The three french hens symbolizes the three Theological Virtues: 1) Faith, 2) Hope, and 3) Love. But now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; and the greatest of these is love. 1 Cor 13:13 (ASV)

I do hope that you enjoy this gift of love on the third day of Christmas. It is my desire that these words of encouragement will propel you further down your path of success.

Faith, Hope & Love

Faith enables you to believe in the exceedingness of who God is and in the veracity of His Word. When you can believe, then you will be able to achieve everything God envisioned for you. Faith makes you pleasing in the sight of God. Faith enables you to know that you can have whatever you say. Without faith, you can’t possibly please God. Faith is rooted in love. Perfect love always cast out fear. When fear is cast out, there is nothing to stop you from achieving and experiencing all God envisioned. Build your faith and you will always experience the hope of God’s glory.

Your hope is what builds up your faith. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for and the substance of hope is your trials and tribulations that gives you patience, patience builds your character in making you strong and strengthening your faith to endure life’s hardships. With every experience it increases your ability to keep hoping in the promises of God. You become persuaded that this hope, that may appear to be rooted in adversity, is actually building your character and prepares you to be more than a conqueror because of God’s love. It will never make you ashamed because of the love God pours inside of you through His Holy Spirit each and every day.

Every day God infuses you with His love. Really it is His love, inherent in His Holy Spirit, that propels you to succeed. Love is the strongest force that exists because God is love. Every assignment you are given is rooted in God’s love—especially the greatest two commandments to love God with all your heart, mind and soul and to love your neighbor as you love yourself. When you love God you’re able to embrace the assignment with passion and overcome the limitations of this world that tries to prevent you from succeeding. This same love spills over into the passion that drives you to serve those that you are assigned to with a spirit of excellence, compassion and love. Whatever you need to succeed, God has already lovingly poured it inside of you and equipped you for humongous success.

This is day 3 of the 12 Days of Christmas. My gift of encouragement to you. Enjoy the gift.

Please note we had some technical difficulty in getting this gift to you on Day 3. We wanted you to receive the gift.

Enjoy Your Gift!

Your Second Day of Chirstmas Gift| Showers’ Blessing Inspires

The “True Love” mentioned in the song doesn’t refer to an earthly suitor, but it refers to God Himself. The “me” who receives the presents refers to every baptized person. The two turtle doves represent the Old and New Testaments, which together bear witness to God’s self-revelation in history and the creation of a people to tell the Story of God to the world. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments. Psalms 119:105-106 (KJV)

God’s Instruction Book

I do hope that you enjoy this gift of love on the second day of Christmas. It is my desire that these words of encouragement will propel you further down your path of success.

Your First Day of Chirstmas Gift| Showers’ Blessing Inspires

The “True Love” mentioned in the song doesn’t refer to an earthly suitor, but it refers to God Himself. The “me” who receives the presents refers to every baptized person. The partridge in a pear tree is Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, whose birthday we celebrate on December 25, the first day of Christmas. In the song, Christ is symbolically presented as a mother partridge that feigns injury to decoy predators from her helpless nestlings, recalling the expression of Christ’s sadness over the fate of Jerusalem: “Jerusalem! Jerusalem! How often would I have sheltered you under my wings, as a hen does her chicks, but you would not have it so . . . .” (Luke 13:34)

I Am that I Am

My mother gave me a priceless gift to love God and to love others. Her instructions were simplistic, yet expansive, “Love one another.” I believe everything hinges on that humongous powerful four letter word that can transform the most stubborn of wills—L-O-V-E.

God wants us to understand the magnitude of the role he plays within each of us, but he also wants us to understand the magnitude of the role we play in each other’s lives. Living out the greatest two commandments to love God with all our mind, body and soul and to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. I believe these two commandments, when kept at the forefront of our lives, keeps us grounded to serve and love one another.

Many times we want to feel that we are in this alone. When we isolate ourselves we become more consumed with what others can do for us and lose sight of what we can do for others. Self-serving attitudes and actions only lead to destructiveness and limitation. I AM—God within us—connects us and unifies us. God is love. We are united in His love. Together we exemplify unity in all of its nuances to achieve much more than we could ever achieve alone. Our actions and behaviors have a direct consequence on each other because when one is affected everyone is affected.

When we allow the I AM power dwelling in each of us to be our guiding force, the veil that prevents us from understanding our purpose is lifted. Allowing God, I Am That I Am, to guide and lead us to our expected purpose, we come up against mental strongholds that try to prevent us from experiencing all God has for our lives, which is directly connected to all God has for others’ lives.

Each of us may not want to fulfill our responsibility for the welfare and well-being of others, but we have no choice. It is rooted in the two greatest commandments. We are responsible for banning together and making things happen. God provides the purpose, but He also provides us the wisdom to know collectively we can do much more.

Working together we experience progress. We must respect the enterprising spirit inherent in each of us. If we don’t respect each other and support our respective dreams and aspirations, we will never excel to the heights God envisioned.

The Spirit of I Am answers the questions looming in our lives. His purpose is for us to be prosperous. His purpose is for us to be protected and safe. His purpose is for us to have the desires of our hearts. His purpose is for us to have power and a sound mind, not to be controlled by the limitations of this world, but to be controlled and guided by divine peace, joy, love and the Spirit of I AM. At the core of His Spirit is love. Such a small word with illimitable power.

Enjoy Your Gift!

Merry Christmas! | Showers’ Blessing Inspires

I love Christmas! I have more decorations than I almost have a place to put them. Needless to say, over the years it has come to mean more than decorations. It is time to celebrate with family and friends and pour out love to everyone. When I think about Christmas’ gone by, I can’t help but reminisce about how much fun my family enjoyed. We’d kick it off on Christmas Eve and celebrate every day until New Year’s Day.

The celebration included singing the Twelve Days of Christmas. Every one of us anticipated singing it since my sister Portia introduced it to us many years ago. In essence, each person is given a card with four of the gifts from the song on it. They are random. That is what makes it so much fun.

As you proceed through the sung, each person stands up and sings the portion of the song that is listed on their card. We are jumping up and down, singing, laughing and just having a great time.

One year, I wanted to know more about the Twelve Days of Christmas and exactly what were we singing. To my amazement, it was more than a nonsensical song, but actually was a way for Catholics in England to practice their faith during a period when they were prohibited from doing so in public and in private. They were able to teach their children about Christmas and Christ using the symbols of each day. I was interestingly intrigued that the 12 days did not proceed Christmas, but actually started on Christmas evening and ended the evening of January 6. Over the years, the 12 days have to come to represent more than just a nonsensical song to me.

Oftentimes as we look at the ending of one year and another year beginning, we are always in a place of expectation. As I look to celebrate Christmas this year, the 12 days of Christmas’ significance means giving gifts that propel others to fulfill their dreams and live out their purpose.

For 12 days, beginning on Christmas evening and culminating on January 6, expect a gift of encouragement. It is my way of saying thank you for your support for The Showers Group Ministries, The ME Place, Oh Break Out Empowerment & Leadership Experience, Showers’ Blessing Inspires, 11:59 A Mintue ’til Midnight Marketplace Prayer Bootcamp and Wisdom Wealth & Riches with Jacqui BlogTalkRadio Show. It is my prayer and hope these gifts of inspiration will continue to propel you in 2016 to become all God envisioned so you can experience what God SAWW, Spiritual Abundance Wholeness and Wealth.

Enjoy Your Christmas!

Don’t Throw In the Towel | Showers’ Blessing Inspires | Jacqui Showers

We live in a time when the greed factor is experienced on both sides of the work equation. You have employers who do not value their employees in creating a harmonious environment that inspires creative collaborative productivity. Conversely, you have employees whose primary concern is the wages earned and not a commitment to excellence. This dichotomy of non-commitment has to do with each not understanding they are to serve each other.

The “at will” mentality has fostered distrust and a self-centered work ethic, not to mention a bodacious “what’s in it for me” attitude. Employers are worried that employees will leave without warning and employees share the same sentiment that an employer will waltz them into an office and serve them a pick slip.

We are to serve each other.

Serving must never be tossed aside. The strength of any company is its employees. When employees are happy and secure, it makes for a winning combination. It can be a vicious cycle if employees are under-valued that causes management’s frustration. The cycle begins with management and ends with management. You see your oppression of any kind produces stagnation in employees and their stagnation causes your frustration. Servant leadership always fosters liberation that ignites employees to perform with excellence.

Employees have a responsibility as well. Their attitudes and actions can have a diverse effect on their employer. If they have a lackluster attitude about their respective position the employer is going to respond accordingly. I recall being an employee who expected much from my boss, but I wasn’t doing my part. I came to work late. Did whatever I wanted and expected more from her. Yes, she had her issues of wanting to relegate me to a position of inferiority because she felt I was not a part of the professional staff. Let me clarify something. If you are working a job, you are a part of the professional staff.

It caused me to rebel and not perform at my best. Two wrongs don’t make a right. This was my second job out of high school and I had a lot to learn. Regardless of her actions, I still had to perform my job well. It took a few years for me to come to that realization and to change. She never embraced the transformation because she was locked on the person I used to be. That was fine. My vantage point had broaden. I owed my employer my best in exchange for my wages and their confidence in hiring me to do the job well. Not to mention, I wanted more and had to break bad work habits if I ever expected to perform well in my next position.

Servant leadership and stewardship is the hallmark for success. Each must respect and understand it is a mutually beneficial relationship. Each is a servant to the other. When both make a decision not to throw in the towel, but to serve each other with a spirit of excellence everyone wins. The employee no longer feels their efforts are under-valued, and the employer respects the value of the employee’s contribution which makes for a winning relationship.

Each must take an end of the towel of service and serve each other with all their hearts, minds and soul. Don’t throw in the towel, it is still much serving to do.

As a marketplace influencer do you have a servant’s attitude? Regardless if you are the boss or not, do you understand that you are a servant first?

Mirror Reflection: A Legacy Of You | Showers’ Blessing Inspires

More often than not I’m reminded of my mother simply because I look so much like her. I gaze into the mirror and I see her. I look down at my hands and I see her hands. My thighs resemble her thighs. Yes, my walk, especially when I don’t intentionally sashay across the room, is her walk tethering from side-to-side. Not only do I see her in me, I see her in my siblings as well. I see her in my nieces and nephews even those who never had the great opportunity to meet her.

Unfortunately and fortunately, my Mother has made her transition from this world to that of her Father’s. The impact she made continues to have far-reaching effects into generations yet to be born.

I remember after my Mother made her transition, I found a steno notebook where she had written, “Lord please make my life count.” Wow! Didn’t she know how much her life counted? All I could think of is the impact she had made on my life, my siblings, my friends and countless others that I may never know about. Yet, she had written those words, I suspect, at a time when she queried God about her purpose on this earth.

I can remember the numerous times I wrote letters to her while living in Washington DC about my undying commitment, gratitude and love for her just for simply being my Mother. I knew as I wrote them that her proudest moment would come when they were read at the church as they honored mothers. I wasn’t always there, but I wanted everyone to know what she meant to me and how much she impacted my life and others.

Even in her life anew with her Father, the impact is even more pronounced. I often wish she was here with me to see that all of what she poured into me and sacrificed for me was not in vain. It has and continues to manifest its purpose. The more I mature in Christ, the more I realize she exhibited a quiet confidence of liberty and freedom in her relationship with God. It is because of this I am able to embrace Him with total abandonment and liberation.

Oftentimes I wish I can still express to her just how much her life counted. It is rewarding to me when I speak with siblings and each of us have not only our shared moments, but our unique memories of her impact our lives.

We celebrate each and every day when we embrace and live out the legacy she passed to each of us. It was and continues to be a legacy of love and commitment to family. It is a huge responsibility, but one in which we all have embraced. That is why we get together so frequently. That is why we pray together every Saturday morning. That is why we love each other no matter what. That is why no one will allow another to pull away. We are committed to her legacy.

As you celebrate this Mother’s Day, cherish all that your mother poured into you. Even if all you can cherish is that she birthed you into this world, honor her for it. Mother’s are special people who should always know that their lives count and their legacy continues. If you don’t believe me just gaze into the mirror. You see…you’re a living testament of that fact.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Sweet Revenge: Life’s Defining Moments | Showers’ Blessing Inspires | Jacqui Showers

Graduation is a time of transitioning from one season of life to another. All the excitement surrounding graduation includes senior activities culminating with the prom and graduation. The year my niece graduated I was so excited because she was more like the daughter I never had. After her mother passed, I moved in with her and her father to help get her through those difficult adolescent years.

One of her finest moments during her graduation season happened at her senior photo shoot. As I stood there watching her she looked beautiful. Then I noticed a young man standing next to me was as much in awe of my niece as I was. He was looking at her so intently that I thought to myself, well he must really think she’s pretty.

Once we were back in the dressing room my niece asked me did I see that boy out there. I said, “Yes, I couldn’t help but see him because he was staring so hard at you.” She went on to remind me about when she was in middle school and would come home almost every day upset, telling me about a boy who told her she was so ugly no would ever want to date her and she definitely would never get married. During that time, I would reassure her that he was wrong and not to believe him. Needless to say, when you are in middle school your peers’ opinions rank far above any adult’s.

My niece proceeded to say how he did not remember her until she reminded him of the mean things he had said to her. He immediately started back peddling and exclaiming how sorry and wrong he was and kept repeating over and over how pretty she looked. As I listened to my niece tell this story and saw the huge grin of victory on her face, I knew that this was one of her finest moments. It was in that instance that she moved from living in the realm of what others say about her to believing all God had created her to be.

Unfortunately, many of us never get to encounter those people who spoke venom about us and in many instances caused us to spiral downward. Unlike my niece, many of us may never have that defining moment of sweet revenge when you come face-to-face with your accuser and you look absolutely stunning. However, your defining moment comes when you relinquish all the venom spoken about you and embrace only what God says.

You see, nobody knows you any better than Him. Nobody knows the greatness in you. He created you. He placed all the great things inside of you. He alone defines who you are. In the instance you embrace who God created you to be is when you begin to fulfill all your desires, your dreams and walk in your destiny on the path to fulfilling your purpose.

Question: What is your defining moment? How did it effect you? Share your comments with us.

8 Ways to Overcome Dream Busters | Showers’ Blessing Inspires

SB-Quotes-dont-dreamOne of the first Bible stories I ever remembered was that of Joseph and his brothers. Joseph was a dreamer and had the gift to interpret his dreams. In two separate instances Joseph dreamed that his brothers and father would bow down to him in servitude. When he shared his dream with his brothers, they were furious. Howbeit they didn’t have much love for him in the first place and when he came boasting about his dream to them, this only added fuel to the fire.

They devised a plan to ensure that his dream would not come true. It was bad enough that he was their Father’s favorite and a tattle tell, now he was trying to say that they were going to have to serve him as well. They knew how to stop this dreamer from dreaming and stop the madness. So they threw him in a pit and ultimately sold him into slavery. Eventually he found himself in prison. Unbeknownst to him this was his destiny in fulfillment of the dreams on his way to the palace.

  1. Everybody that you share your dreams with will not be happy about your dreams. You have to be careful whom you share your dreams. Everybody is not rooting for you to be successful. Believe it or not, even in your family, people don’t want you to succeed. Guard your dreams.
  2. When people don’t have dreams, they are not going to support your dreams. It is hard for someone to be excited about your success when they don’t have anything to be excited about themselves. In essence, they refuse to dream and even more, they refuse to live their dreams. They will do whatever it takes to prevent you from living yours as well. Misery loves company. Don’t accept the invitation to the party.
  3. Your dream is always connected to helping others. Don’t forget that a God-given dream always is for you to make this world a better place. He created you to provide a solution. As such, your dream is not so much for others to serve you, but for you to serve others. Inherent in your dream is the spirit of humility. Don’t become so boastful you provoke others by lauding your dream over them
  4. No one can prevent your dream from happening. Yes, you will have those who would have you believe that your dream will never happen. The only way your dream will not happen is because you sabotage it—that includes giving someone permission to stop you from pursuing your dreams.
  5. For your dreams to become a reality you will have to walk away from dream busters. There are people who don’t want your dream to come true. Let them go! In essence, walk away from those unhealthy alliances. When the relationship is severed, by your doing or theirs, don’t pine over them. Definitely don’t rekindle it. They never had your best interest at heart anyway. Release them and be set free to passionately live your dreams.
  6. Celebrate the dream busters. The very people who think they have the power to stop your dream from happening, will be the very ones who catapult you down the path to fulfillment of your dream. Instead of hating on them, celebrate them for moving you in the right direction.
  7. Never lose focus of your dreams. It may appear that your dreams will not come true, but keep the faith. Just because you may have some pit experiences along the way, doesn’t mean that your dream has died. The dream is given, but the process to the fulfillment of the dream is not. Stay focused and committed in the process.
  8. Never give up and stop believing in your dreams. Your relentless determination will override any attempts to thwart your dream from happening. Hold fast to your dreams. Never give up hope regardless of the circumstances or others perceived power over the future of your dreams. It will happen as long as you stay steadfast and committed to the dream.

Pulpit of the Marketplace | Showers’ Blessing Inspires | Jacqui Showers

I’m always fascinated about the phrase, “wall of separation of church and state.” My fascination was enhanced while working with the U.S. Census mobilizing the faith-based community in southeast Michigan. I came to realize that the majority of people are clueless about what all this means. The murkiness of the statement confuses so many and our society tosses these words around without full comprehension of their meaning.

It is interesting these words do not appear in our Constitution, Amendments or the Bill of Rights. Yet these do, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

I do believe that when the First Amendment of 1791 was written, the government was making sure that government could not establish a universal religion that had to be practiced by every American. It empowered every citizen with the right to worship, speak and assemble without fear of punitive consequences.

The astounding thing about the First Amendment is that many believers do not understand the inherent freedoms it entails. What has transpired is a phrase, that is not written, has become the governing force that drives them in their daily life. You see, no matter where I work when I walk through those doors my faith waltzes in with me. I cannot be sawed in half and the most important part of who I am cannot be left outside of the door—my faith.

This is not to say that we are not to adhere to the laws of the land as well as those that are in authority, but it does mean that we need to be acutely aware of our rights as citizens of the United States. Even more, we need to know our rights that inherent in the Word of God.

The landscape of the mission field is embracing the marketplace as never before. You see, there are many people whom we come in contact with every day who may never be imprisoned, live in a shelter or on the streets. Yet, they are crying out for answers as they seek a deeper meaning of life and seek to establish intimacy with God in an uncertain world and economic climate.

The marketplace for years has been like this forbidden terrain that although we spend the bulk of our waking hours there, we have not conquered. Yet it is the marketplace that takes us into another realm of influence and where the wealth transference to fulfill your Kingdom mandate takes place.

Understanding our rights and freedoms inherent in the First Amendment not only liberates us, but our children as well. Then we are able to educate, equip and empower our children with the wisdom and knowledge they need. Prayer was taken out of the schools, but when we empower our children prayer can go back into those same schools.

Our altars, for marketplace change-agents, have transformed into our work environments. Many are not slated to stand behind a pulpit, but to pull people out of the pit one job at a time. This means breaking out of a mindset promulgated from the premise of the wall of separation of church and state that has kept believers from exercising their liberties and freedoms. We have a responsibility to fulfill the mandate of the great commission, but we also have to be equipped to wisely integrate that dichotomy of responsibility with worship and work.

Oh Break Out Empowerment & Leadership Experience’s goal is to equip and educate marketplace change-agents with solid biblical principles for spiritual, professional, cultural and personal empowerment in expanding their sphere of influence. It provides a synergistic spirit-fueled atmosphere that encourages relationship development for further spiritual growth and business opportunities. In essence, it is equipping you to seamlessly integrate spirituality into the reality of the marketplace as you make an indelible mark that can never be erased.

Plan to attend the Oh Break Out Empowerment & Leadership Experience scheduled for November 21-22, 2014. Take the first step to ensure your position at Oh Break Out by registering before September 13 @ a special rate of $55. I will be so happy to see you there.

Do you understand your rights? Do you feel that you can be sawed in half? Will you be a marketplace change agent and carry the gospel to the marketplace?

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matt 28:19-20 (KJV)

Every person should obey the government in power. No government would exist if it hadn’t been established by God. The governments which exist have been put in place by God.Romans 13:1 (GW)

Place yourselves under the authority of human governments to please the Lord. Obey the emperor. He holds the highest position of authority. Also obey governors. They are people the emperor has sent to punish those who do wrong and to praise those who do right. 1 Peter 2:13-14 (GW)

Make clear to them that they are to put themselves under rulers and authorities, to do what they are ordered, to be ready for every good work, Titus 3:1 (BBE)

Father, I have lacked wisdom long enough about the wall of separation of church and state. I know that You have a mandate for me to go in to all the world and that includes the marketplace. You have equipped me to sit at my desk that has become the altar in which I pull people out of the pit who may otherwise not have an encounter with You. Bless me to represent you well at home, work and church.  Amen.

My Enterprise “ME Inc.” | Showers’ Blessing Inspires | Jacqui Showers

My mother used to say, “Jacqui, when you eat, your family eats.” In essence, I was a single woman with no children. When I became full, my whole family was full. When I slept, my family slept. When I worked, my family worked. I was an entity within myself.

Sometimes we can’t grasp the concept that each of us is an entity within ourselves. We are the ones responsible for our future. Now, you may wonder how that can be possible, when I can walk into my job and before the day ends waltz back out with a pink slip telling me that my skills are no longer needed. What type of control is that?

Over the past couple of decades or more I have been right-sized, down-sized and out-sized from myriad positions. Along the way I had to move beyond the mindset of being an employee to seeing myself as ME Inc. When I work, my business works. When I increase in knowledge, my business increases in knowledge. You are a legitimate incorporated business enterprise.

If you are providing any legitimate business service, regardless if you work for someone else, you are incorporated and in business for yourself. It doesn’t matter if you are working at McDonald’s or wherever, you are selling your time and your skills as a business entity. Operating as a business has nothing to do with your education or your occupation. It has all to do with YOU!

Moving from the mindset of being an employee to viewing yourself as an enterprise, ME Inc., you will begin to have a different work ethic and a different mindset when it comes to future pursuits. When you grasp the veracity of being incorporated, you are on your road to success. Regardless if you were handed a pink slip or not, you realize that it is time to go and sell your most precious commodities, time and skills, somewhere else.

Just like any business, if you lose one account you have to go and get another one. However when you go to the next place, you have increased your skill set and your marketability.

As you move from having the mindset of working for someone, regardless if you may be employed by a company or not to realizing you work for yourself, or even more importantly you work for God, your work ethic changes from being a taker to being a giver. As a giver you provide optimum performance. You no longer work for someone else. You embrace that you are incorporated to succeed and provide viable solutions. You begin to connect the dots and as a result have a more authentic experience as an independent contractor empowered to succeed.

Every business provides a service and in turn they receive some type of currency or compensation. They have to manage their accounts, receivables, cash flow, business relationships and make sure they are positioned for success in the marketplace. So do you!

Similar to when my mother stated that when I eat my family eats; when you work your business is in full operation! The quality of excellence of the service you provide, determines the magnitude of the success of your business enterprise, ME Inc.

The way you keep ME Inc. on top of your game, you must be able to seamlessly integrate your spirituality with the reality of the marketplace. In essence, you need to make sure that your spirit person is built up in order for you to maximize your efforts in making an indelible mark as a marketplace influencer. You must also make sure you stay abreast of the transforming landscape to remain competitive.

You can begin by attending the Oh Break Out Empowerment & Leadership Experiencescheduled for November 21-22, 2014. Take the first step to ensure your position at Oh Break Out by registering before September 13 @ a special rate of $55. I will be so happy to see you there.

Are you are a marketplace influencer? Do you understand that you are an enterprise? How are you operating in that role? Do you want to learn more about how to be that marketplace influencer? Love to hear your comments. Take a moment and share.

Any enterprise is built by wise planning, becomes strong through common sense, and profits wonderfully by keeping abreast of the facts. Proverbs 24:3-4 (LB)

For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another. Psalms 75:6-7 (KJV)

Doing your work readily, as to the Lord, and not to men: In the knowledge that for every good thing anyone does, he will have his reward from the Lord, If he is a servant or if he is free. Eph 6:7-8 (BBE)

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jer 29:11 (KJV)

I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, Eph 4:1 (KJV)

Be fully aware of the condition of your flock, and pay close attention to your herds. Wealth is not forever. Nor does a crown last from one generation to the next. Prov 27:23-24 (GW)

Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men. Prov 22:29 (KJV)

Father, In Your master creation you placed inside of me the ability to succeed. This has nothing to do with whom I work for, as much as it does with the quality of service I provide. Please, transform my mindset to know I am designed to succeed regardless if I am an owner or not. You Inc., me, will provide exceptional service in providing solutions for others as I glorify You. Regardless of my status, I am still an economic entity with the ability to succeed. Bless me, when my services are no longer needed to confidently assess the situation and move on to new economic relationships that need my time, skills and talents as I live out Your program for successful synergistic interactions.  Amen.
