Happy Mother’s Day!

PicSpire -Showers Blessing - Mother's Day - 2020

Celebrate Your Mother’s Love!

Before we ever entered this world the pages of our lives were being written. Guess who was there? You’re right, our Mothers. She went through all the nuances of gestation in carrying us for nine months and the pains and travail of our birth. She was the one who changed our first diapers, fed us, and lovingly cooed to us of how much she loved us.

Throughout our maturation process, it was her love that propelled us forward and encouraged us to succeed. Our Mother’s made the sacrifices and loved us unconditionally. Throughout our book of life, our Mother’s love is there—sacrifice, tears, worry, sleepless nights, chastening, correcting, caring, believing in us, and having the faith for our success even before we had it. Without our Mothers, there would be no pages of our lives. Between every page of our life is our Mother’s love.

Celebrate your Mother’s Love every day of your life!

Happy Mother’s Day!

Happy New Year! Celebrate the Winner in You!

tsgm2020-1

Celebrate the Winner in You in 2020!

It’s not just a new year, it’s a new decade! Like everyone else, I am having moments of reflections and moments of anticipation.

When I entered 2019, I made a commitment to myself to finish my books—Prayers for Success: Igniting the World to Achieve Success, I DECIDED: Moving from Resolution to Execution and Affirmations for Success: Daily Affirmations for Marketplace Influencers. That was my primary focus throughout 2019. I made the decision to place everything else aside and focus on completing an assignment that had been looming over me.

Whoa! Whoa! I achieved that assignment. The books are here! They are available right now! If you haven’t purchased yours, get them now at www.jassaipublishing.com.

This has been a journey for me, but now I am looking ahead to all that awaits me in this year’s journey. With the publishing of these books, I feel a release to move full speed ahead. Each of us have been inoculated with desires that are directly connected to our embracing the assignments God has strategically placed inside of us. The beauty of every assignment is that He has also equipped and empowered us to succeed.

As you peer into 2020 and a new decade, make the decision to fulfill every desire. If you feel you can’t accomplish them all, identify one or two that you can be committed to achieving. Believe me, when you complete the assignment it is going to bring you great joy, peace and bolster your confidence in forging you forward to the next one.

Keep in mind, that you must be committed to accomplishing all God has given you. It is more than just speaking faith name it and claim it declarations, you must have the corresponding actions to experience success in your endeavors.

For me, this year I am resurrecting previous assignments that I set aside while completing my books. Look to see Showers’ Blessing Inspire Blog and eblast, 11:59 A Minute ’til Minute Marketplace Prayer Boot Camp, Prayers for Success and Wisdom, Wealth & Riches with Jacqui as well as the return of Oh Break Out Empowerment and Leadership Experience and more.

I am exposing myself to you as an accountability factor. In order to be successful, you must put it out there so someone can hold you accountable. As you go over your commitments for the year, also identify someone whom you can trust to walk alongside you. Having that support is critical. There will be days when you will need a shoulder to lean on and there will be days when you need someone to celebrate with you as well. Never forget that God is always there with each step of your journey. You have to carve out daily time to spend with Him in meditation, prayer, fasting and consuming His Word.

God has placed so much inside each of us for us to excel and succeed. He never had any intentions for us to fail. The same winner DNA that is part of God is also a part of you. Every day God envisions you to be a winner. You must envision yourself as a winner. Winning is a mindset, regardless of what may be happening in your life. Your mindset to win propels you to be the winner you were created to be. That is the only way you are going to move successfully through 2020 and beyond through this decade.

Celebrate the Winner in You!

Happy New Year & New Decade!

Don’t Be So Quick to Give Up | Showers’ Blessing Picspire | Jacqui Showers

Even when I tried to give up, I couldn’t. I tried, but I kept pushing forward and encouraging myself. Sometimes it appeared as though I was so exhausted I was going to drop. But I knew I had to keep forging ahead. If you have ever had to do anything, you know what I’m talking about. You know that it is not by your might or power, but by God’s spirit that propels you forward against all odds.

That’s why giving up can never be an option. You will do whatever it takes to persevere. You must recognize those things that will cause you to want to give up. There has to be something that loosens you from the grips of mediocrity, complacency and passiveness to become diligent, assertive and passionate in your pursuit to go all the way.

I push myself hard. I recognize that I can be consumed with perfectionism and never accomplish what I need to accomplish. I recognize it. There was a time when I didn’t want to recognize that it was a limitation that prevented me from being successful. Now, I confront it head on by calling it out and proactively operating with a spirit of excellence. How? I don’t have to have everything perfect—even if there was such a thing as perfection.

Excellence provides me with an understanding that everything is a work in progress and along the way I can always go back and perfect it. I cannot give up on it. Howbeit, when excellence is at the forefront of my game, I push myself hard. I know that I am not operating within the finiteness of my own strength. That means, if I pull all-nighters and only get a few hours of sleep within a 48-72 hour period, so be it. It’s all worth it!

You must be relentless in your assignment. Recognize those familiar foes that try to creep back into your life and cause you to stumble, fall and never get back up. Recognize new ones that try to blind sight you to give up. When you embrace the reality that every assignment given you has its own set of destiny busters, you will also be alert to their antics and thwart their assignment against your assignment. You won’t be so quick to give up.

Do you easily cave in when the going gets tough? What is causing you to give up? What are you going to do not to give up?

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Quotes on Commitment to Humanity | Showers’ Blessing Picspire | Jacqui Showers

As you celebrate Martin Luther King’s birthday remember that we have a responsibility to humankind that extends beyond the boundaries of our existence to the greater good of society. As you walk out this day, remember the legacy of King and his commitment to love humanity, even sacrificing his own life. In today’s climate of divisiveness, know that each of us have been created to serve humankind with compassion and love. Hate against hate breeds hate. Love against hate breeds love. It is the strongest force in the world Love is more powerful than death. We must show love, even to those who do not show love. It is the legacy Martin Luther King Jr. left with us.

  6. We have before us the glorious opportunity to inject a new dimension of love in the veins of our civilization.””
  7. “Our scientific power has outrun our spiritual power.” We have guided missiles and misguided men.””

Happy New Year! Enjoy the Journey!

Happy New Year,

The first day of the new year marks the end of the Christmas Holiday season. Our concerns turn to the cares of the routines of our lives. Many are preparing to go to work the next day. Suddenly, the festivities of the season begin to distance itself behind us. We embark on another fresh canvass of 365 days.

Many have written resolutions in hopes that a new year will provide a fresh perspective. In many instances, it does. A new year is a continuation of your journey. It would be great if everything suddenly changed at the stroke of midnight, but that isn’t the case. True transformation only takes place in our daily journey. Resolutions only bring transformation when we are committed to the daily routine of our journey. If there is no commitment to the transformative power of our daily routine, the resolutions will remain on that paper until the next year.

The journey of a year is that you are moving every day in a mindset to achieve success. It doesn’t matter the magnitude of the success, as along as you have a success mentality that propels you through the year. It’s a journey. The success of the journey begins and ends with your commitment to enjoying all the nuances that the journey entails—the good, the bad and the indifferent.

What you have to know is that each day and each experience is making 2019’s journey a success. With every day and experience, you are growing in so many ways. Your faith is increasing. Your confidence is bolstered. Your relationships are strengthened. Every aspect of your life experiences a metamorphosis of success in the journey.

Enjoy the journey! You’re on a path to achieve illimitable success in 2019!

Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas! Enduring Christmas Joy!

Greetings,

Today is Christmas once again, according to the calendar. On December 25th, we celebrate Christmas, virtually all around the world. We gather with family and friends to spend a joyous holiday eating, laughing and just enjoying each other’s company.

Then, the joyous festivities come to an end. Before we know it, we are back into the humdrum of life. The hectic schedules, the rudiments of work with its demanding deadlines and responsibilities, not to mention our commitments to family and friends. We find ourselves right back trying to juggle our demanding schedules. Somehow, the joy of Christmas becomes a blur as the days distant themselves from December 25th.

The joy associated with Christmas can be experienced every day throughout the year. It is an intense feeling that transcends happiness. It is rooted in longing and nurturing a relationship with Jesus. At Christmas we steal away from our frenetic lifestyles to celebrate the birth of Jesus. His birth represents communion with Him. We emulate God when He unselfishly gave His only begotten son by spreading love and joy and giving of gifts. During this time, we give unselfishly of ourselves with presents and the ultimate gift of our presence. All of these brings us Christmas joy.

I implore upon you not to abandon the joy of Christmas when December 25th comes to end but stretch out Christmas joy throughout the year. Make time to gather with family and friends. Give the best gift of your presence to those who feel lonely or are alone. Give gifts to those less fortunate. Most importantly, find time to steal away every day to bask in the presence of Jesus. You will emerge with a renewed vigor in spreading and experiencing Christmas joy throughout the entire year.

Have a Merry Awesomely Blessed Joyous Christmas!

10 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Quotes to Do the Right Thing | Showers’ Blessing Picspire | Jacqui Showers

Today we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who was committed to live out his purpose in service to humankind without fear of the consequences to his own life. As you kick-off your week in celebration of Dr. King’s life and legacy, be committed to rise above yourself in truly living out your dream of service to others by doing what is right regardless of its political, social or cultural consequences. These are 10 quotes by Dr. King to help you through your journey.

  1. “You may be 38 years old, as I happen to be. And one day, some great opportunity stands before you and calls you to stand up for some great principle, some great issue, some great cause. And you refuse to do it because you are afraid…. You refuse to do it because you want to live longer…. You’re afraid that you will lose your job, or you are afraid that you will be criticized or that you will lose your popularity, or you’re afraid that somebody will stab you, or shoot at you or bomb your house; so you refuse to take the stand. Well, you may go on and live until you are 90, but you’re just as dead at 38 as you would be at 90. And the cessation of breathing in your life is but the belated announcement of an earlier death of the spirit.”
  2. “The time is always right to do the right thing”
  3. “On some positions, cowardice asks the question, is it expedient? And then expedience comes along and asks the question, is it politic? Vanity asks the question, is it popular? Conscience asks the question, is it right? There comes a time when one must take the position that is neither safe nor politic nor popular, but he must do it because conscience tells him it is right.”
  4. “Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darkness of destructive selfishness.”
  5. “The first question which the priest and the Levite asked was: ‘If I stop to help this man, what will happen to me?’ But…the good Samaritan reversed the question: ‘If I do not stop to help this man, what will happen to him?”
  6. “An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity.”
  7. “Not everybody can be famous but everybody can be great, because greatness is determined by service.”
  8. “The question is not if we will be extremists, but what kind of extremists we will be. The nation and the world are in dire need of creative extremists.”
  9. “Use me, God. Show me how to take who I am, who I want to be, and what I can do, and use it for a purpose greater than myself.”
  10. “The end of life is not to be happy, nor to achieve pleasure and avoid pain, but to do the will of God, come what may.
